VGCR Monthly Medal December: Haroon wins Gross event

Young 17-year-old golfing sensation from trinity College, Haroon Aslam continued his winning streak at the monthly medal at the Victoria Golf Country Resort (VGCR) which took place at their club course in Rajawella last weekend.

Haroon was in top form ending on 72 points in the Gross event. Former Kandy Sports Club Head Coach Johan Taylor who is on holiday in Kandy took the runner-up award in the same segment. He scored 86 points.

Meanwhile in the Nett event Prashanna Liyanage accounted for the win with 66 points with S. Ponnambalam securing the second place with 68 points.

The Ladies gross was won by Linda Harris with 103 points while M Bond won the Nett with 75 points.
