Valvoline will be the main sponsor for the CR and FC rugby outfit for 2023/2024 rugby season, which will kick off today (2 December) with a game against the Sri Lanka Army at Panagoda.
Valvoline has been part of Sri Lanka for over 20 years through its local distributor, United Motors Lanka PLC.
First Capital will be the platinum sponsor while the banking partner will be NDB for the Longdon Place club.
Speaking to Daily FT, CR and FC Skipper and former Peterite player Sohiru Anthony said, “We have more than 40 players in the squad and got some very good school leavers in it. CR gives space for 10 school leavers, and already 8 of them have grabbed their places. Further, all players have a 3-year contract with the club. He ended by saying, “We have a balanced side with forwards and three quarters and want to take one game at a time.”
