Victoria Golf and Country Resort victorious

The inaugural tournament of the Victoria Golf and Country Resort and Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, which took place recently in Nuwara Eliya, was won by the Victoria Club.

Eight golfers represented each team. The tournament consisted of 14 matches. The Victoria Golf and Country Resort emerged winners at the inaugural event by winning eight of the matches while the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club won five of them.

The Victoria Golf and Country Resort team was captained by Thusith Wijesinghe while the Nuwara Eliya team was led by Firaz Hameed.
