Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association (SSRFA) conducted Under 19 All Island Seven a Side Rugby Tournament 2023 kicked off at Havelock Park yesterday. Vidyartha, St. Joseph’s, Kingswood, Isipathana, Dharmaraja, St. Anthony’s and St. Peter’s confirmed their Cup quarter final berths.
St. Anthony’s were in top form scoring the highest point for day one when they handed off Sri Piyarathne 59/0 while Isipathana too showed a good second day could be expected when they thrashed Moratuwa Vidyalaya 52 to nothing. Vidyartha and D.S. were the defending champions having won the event last at Nittawela. Second days event will move to Royal Sports Complex today with the kick-off is scheduled at 8.45 a.m.
