Vivian Greig donates funds to Gammadda in memory of late husband Tony

Vivian Greig, the wife of late cricketer and commentator Tony Greig, donated the funds collected at Tony Greig’s memorial service at the St. Martin’s in the Field Church in London to the News 1st community initiative Gammadda, during her visit to Sri Lanka. 

She said it was dedicated to the love and affection Tony, Vivian and children Beau and Tom had for Sri Lanka. She also said: “We have heard of the good work done by News 1st Gammadda and have confidence that our donation will benefit those intended at the time of collection.” 

Bandula Jayasekara accepted the donation on behalf of News 1st Gammadda and thanked Vivian and her children for the generous donation to help the people of Sri Lanka. He said that Tony Greig had a very special place in the hearts of Sri Lankans.
