Through the Samaposha 'Dinana Daruwo' program, the company prioritises improving children's educational skills, sports skills, nutrition, creativity and good values. Aligned to these objectives, the Samaposha Provincial School Games, are a special feature, organised to improve the physical and mental health and sports skills of future generations.

In 2015, the 'Samposha Provincial School Games' commenced to empower the North Central Province. Today, the Games have spread across 5 provinces namely the North-western, East, Uva, North Central and Southern. Through the Games, more than 18,000 children from 650 schools have the opportunity to demonstrate their sports skills. 

Marking the beginning of the CBL Samaposha 2023 Provincial School Games, the North-western Provincial Games took place at the Albert Peiris Stadium, Wennappuwa from 15 to 18 August. 

The North-western Provincial School Sports Championship was won by Wennappuwa Joseph Vas Vidyalaya and Central College, Kuliyapitiya secured a Runner-up for the tournament.

The Uva Provincial Tournament, the second sports festival of the Samaposha 2023 Provincial School Games, will be held at the Vincent Dias Stadium, Badulla Stadium from 1 to 4 September.

The sole purpose of the CBL Samaposha 2023 Provincial School Sports League is to strengthen school athletes in Sri Lanka, and promote their mental health and physical fitness to produce athletes who can win international fame for the nation.
