Wesley College Colombo launched its Singer Schools Rugby League 2019 run in ceremonial fashion last week.

Former All Blacks great Rodney So’oialo, who is currently in the country on a brief stint with Trinity College graced the jersey awarding ceremony held at the college main hall.
The playing jersey for the captain Murshid Zubair was handed over by his father Zubair Dooray who was a former Wesley represent who went on to play for the national side later.
The Wesley College management also launched their official match ball for 2019 which they will use for the home games.
Wesley College commenced the season on 3 March when they played Kingswood College for the Blaze Trophy.
