Times of India: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have got off to a poor start in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, where the ‘Orange Army’ has lost three matches in a row.
However, that hasn’t affected the bonding between the players. In the holy month of Ramadan, several SRH players, including Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahaman, are fasting. As revealed by Rashid Khan, SRH Skipper David Warner and New Zealand Captain Kane Williamson have also observed the fast with their team members.
Rashid Khan on his Instagram account shared a video featuring Warner and Williamson and wrote: “2 legends were fasting with us today.” In the video, Rashid asks the two batsmen to share their experiences.
“Good, but I am very thirsty and very hungry, my mouth is so dry,” said Warner.
Williamson, who is yet to feature in IPL 2021, said: “Very good, thanks.”
