Sri Lanka Police Sports Club and Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club scored wins over Sri Lanka Army Sports Club and CH and FC in their Nippon Inter Club Rugby league encounters which concluded at yesterday at Police Park and Race Course ground respectively.
Air Force move forward in high scoring encounter
• Sri Lanka Air Force 44 points
• CH and FC 31 points
Sri Lanka Air Force outplayed CH and FC in a high scoring encounter by 44/31 at Race Course yesterday.
At the short breather Air Force led 20/17. Air Force scored their tries through Krishan Sooriya, Shashika Fernando, Dharshana Dabare, Manuka Perera and Ishara Maduwantha while Nuwan Perera did the conversions and put over three penalties for the winners. Meanwhile CH tries were scored by Avishka Lee, Prasad Madushan, Vishwa Kiriella, Teran Thiranagama and Udara Jayapala. Hirusha Sampath did the kicking duty for the CH outfit.

Air Force have collected 29 points from their nine games and on top in the Super 4 Plate segment with one more game.
Police edge out the Solders

Sri Lanka Police Sports Club edged out Sri Lanka Army Sports Club 15/14 at Police Park yesterday.
At the short breather scores were level at 7 a-piece.
Police SC scored their tries through Hashan Thilakaratne and Prince Chamara. Yohan Peiris put over one conversion while Prince Chamara was on target with the winning penalty. Meanwhile for the Solders their tries were scored by Manoj Kumara and Ijaz Ahmed with Chamath Fernando doing the kicking duties.

Police are occupying number 2 slot in the Plate segment Super 4 with 28 points with one more game left for them.
Today Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club will host CR and FC at Race course ground in one of the important Super 4 Cup encounter which is a must win encounter for the Red Shirts in order for their glimmer of hope on the League trophy.
