Action at defense Services and India rugby encounter

Defence Services edged out visiting Indian rugby outfit 31/30 in their friendly rugby encounter which concluded at the Sri Lanka Air Force ground in Ratmalana recently.

Indian Rugby outfit was captained by Vikas Khatti and the Sri Lankan Defense Services Rugby Team was captained by Thilina Weerasinghe of Sri Lanka Navy.

The Rugby encounter was graced by the incumbent President of the Defence Services Sports Board and Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana, Defense Advisor to the Indian High Commission Captain Vikas Sood, Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Air Force Air Vice Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa, Chairman of the Rugby Stabilization Committee Chula Dharmadasa.
