Havies made a bold start when they got the better of the Navy Sports Club 43/25 at Welisara yesterday.

At the short breather, Park Club led 24/18.

Havies scored their points through 6 tries, 5 conversions, and 1 penalty. Meanwhile, Sailors scored through 3 tries, 2 conversions, and 2 penalties.

Havies scored their tries through Jayathu Rajarathne (2), Janidu Fernando, Kavinda Keshan, Senal Silva, and Samuel Maduwantha. Samuel Maduwantha did the kicking duties for the Park Club. Meanwhile, Sailors scored through Dimuth Perera and Denuwan Wickremarachchi (2), and Isuru Kongahawatta did the kicking for the Welisara outfit.

Raven Alexander refereed the game.

The Inter-Club Rugby encounter between the Army SC and Police SC was called to a halt at the short breather due to heavy rain and lightning at Panagoda. Army led 8/5 at half-time.

Referee was Ishanka Abeykoon. 

The final decision on the result is pending with Sri Lanka Rugby.
