Havelock Sports Club started their second round with a bang when they scored a bonus point win over Army SC at Ratmalana yesterday. Havies, after leading 31/13 at the short breather, went on to register an easy 50/32 win against the Soldiers.
Havies scored their points through eight tries and five conversions while the Soldiers scored their points through five tries, two conversions and one penalty. Havies will continue to occupy the second slot while Army will be an unhappy lot at the seventh position out of the eight teams.

Today, third-placed CR & FC will host sixth-placed Police SC at Longdon place. Meanwhile, tomorrow, there will be two games down for decision. CH & FC will play Navy at Racecourse while the defending champions, Kandy SC, will host the last-placed Air Force up in the Hills.
