Women’s Rugby Captain goes missing in South Korea

Sri Lanka Men’s and Women’s rugby outfit returned yesterday minus the Women’s skipper Dulani Pallekondage

who went missing soon after the second day’s play in South Korea during the Asia Rugby Second leg event. Dulani went missing soon after the second day’s play and search by Namdong Police was unsuccessful. She had gone with another two players from the main ground to the training ground which is adjoining but never returned, Daily FT learns. Other two players who returned had reported the incident to the Team Manager but the search was unsuccessful.

Hong Kong won the Men’s event while Japan won the Women’s title in South Korea. 

Sri Lanka Men’s ended on number 4 while Women’s ended on number 6 out of 8 teams participating.
