Wurth Lanka props up with Katukurunda Speed 2022

Sri Lanka Automobile Sports (SLAS), has once again stepped in to give the local motorsports community a much-needed boost with the announcement of the Katukurunda Speed 2022 race which will be sponsored by Wurth Lanka. 

The race will take place on 3 and 4 December. Wurth Lanka has many sporting event sponsorship including of Golf as well.

Organised by the 10 member clubs of SLAS, the meet will be conducted exclusively for cars whilst limited spectator tickets are being sold, the event will be live-streamed in high-definition on Social Media platforms and Television. 

Moreover, Wurth will put up stalls, flags, Wurth stickering and most of the covering areas will be Wurth branded.

This is the first motorsport in Sri Lanka after COVID – 19 Pandemic and Economic crises occurred in Sri Lanka. Moreover, in a historic first for motorsport in Sri Lanka, one million rupees from the race proceedings will be contributed to Indira Cancer Trust.
