Yeti Open Squash Championship: Thinura and Chanithma stamp their class

Champions Thinura Randima and Chanithma Sinally receiving their awards from Yeti Director Nishelli Perera 

Thinura Randima (Nalanda College) and Chanithma Sinaly(Sirimavo Bandaranayake) clinched the Boys and Girls Under 19 title respectively at the inaugural Yeti Open Junior Squash Championship 2022 concluded at the SSC Courts in Maitland Place recently.

Thinura Randima defeated Nevindu Lakman (D S Senanayake College) in the Boys’ Under 19 final while Chanithma Sinlay handed off Anargi Perera (Visaka Vidyalaya) in the Girls Under 19 final. All top three winners in their respective segments walked away with valuable trophies and certificates while certificates were awarded to top eight players in all age group segments.
