Yeti Isotonic drinks has come forward to partner with Sri Lanka Squash (SLS) in hydrating Sri Lanka’s junior national champion and Asian Junior number three ranked Nevindu Lakman for the WSF World Junior Squash Championships, now in progress in Melbourne, Australia.
Lakman has been in top form in the Asian Circuit in the past few months qualifying for the semi-finals at the Indian Junior Open held in February 2023, Southern Slam Indian Junior Open in May 2023 and becoming third at the Singapore Junior Open, held in December 2022 and emerged runner-up at the Qatar Junior Open event in March 2023.
Yeti Director Dr. Dilshan Balasuriya said: “In our quest to support the sportsmen and women to optimise their talent we are excited to partner with Sri Lanka Squash in supporting world class squash players from Sri Lanka in achieving their dreams.”
Meanwhile, SLS President Dhammika Wijesundara said, “Yeti has been a strategic partner for the last three years in helping us uplift player performance as well as helping us organise events.”
Speaking about the partnership SLS Secretary Eranga Alwis said: “SLS is delighted to see Yeti coming forward to support upcoming squash stars. We have clearly seen how Yeti has helped our players perform at their best both at local and international levels, especially during matches that go on for quite a long time in tough conditions.”
