• Groups announced for the Schools Sevens

Zahira College who are celebrating their Centenary year and their Rugby Sevens, which will take place on 2 and 3 March at the Race Course ground with the participation of 16 leading schools.

Already several leading Institutions have come forward to prop up with the Sevens rugby with Diamond Milk, Moose and Ride coming in as official sponsors while Dasa Group (Silver) and Sing Mobility (Bronze) too will chip in for the colourful event of the shorter version of the game which will kick off the schools’ season for 2024.

 Pool A: Zahira, Dharmaraja, S. Thomas, St Aloysius

Pool B: Royal, Sri Sumangala Kandy, St Joseph’s, Lumbini

Pool C: Trinity, DSS, Wesley, Maliyadeva 

Pool D: Kingswood, Isipathana, St. Peter’s College, Mahanama
