Zahira College Colombo Group of 2007 Futsal Encounter

Zahira College Colombo Group of 2007 organised a Futsal Encounter for the second consecutive year, which was held at the Sports World Peliyagoda recently.

Combined ’90s, Batch of 2002, Group of 2003, Group of 2005, Group of 2007, Class of 2008, Group of 2009, Group of 2011, Group of 2012, Group of 2013, Batch of 2014, Group of 2015, Group of 2016, Group of 2017, Group of 2018 and Batch of 2019 teams participated.

Mohamed Shazny Group of 2011 Golden Boot Award, Golden Glove Award Group of 2017 Kaleelul Rahuman and Fair Player Award Group of 2005 were presented.

Champion team Group of 2017 Captain Farood Faiz received the champion award and cash prize Rs. 50, 000  from chief guest main sponsor of the tournament Shoppinglist.lk Director M.S.A. Mohamed and Group of 2013 team Captain Sajeer Ahamed received the runners up award and cash prize Rs. 30,000 from May Fair Holidays Directors Hameed Sadik and Dr. Irshad Jabir.     

An exhibition match was held between Group of 2007 Exco and Zahira College Old Boys Association Exco and Group of 2007 won the match. President of the Group of 2007 Mohamed Rizad, Secretary Mohamed Thasleem, Project Chairman Shiraj Salley, Coordinator Arshad Jaleel, Zahira College OBA Secretary Nuzri Munsoor, Sports Secretary Mohamed Cassim and Treasurer Hazik Jaleel and members of the Group of 2007 were also present.
