Zahira College Outstanding Players Nawas Hasan (Rugby), Mohamed Murshid (Soccer) and Yasith Nirmala Samaradivakara (Cricket) received Gold awards and certificates at the annual awards ceremony at the College Ghaffoor Hall recently.

University of Kelaniya Department of Marketing Management Head Dr. Ajith Mendis was present as Chief Guest and presented the Gold awards and certificates to the players. Principal Trizviiy Marikkar and Zahira College Board of Governors Chairman Fowzul Hameed were also present.

Board of Governors Secretary Alavi Mukthar, Old Boys Association President Naina Mohamed, Parent Teacher Association Secretary Niyas Fareed, Hameed Sadik Foundation’s Hameed Sadik and Irshad Jabir, Deputy Principals Ananda Ponnemperuma and Razeen Assen, Vice Principals A.M. Mihilar, M.T.A. Rauff, Hijazi Mohideen and Fazlin Firdhouse, POG Muhiseen Ariff, members of the Board of Governors, teachers, students and old boys also attended.
