A Trail of compassion in the fight against cancer

Charity walk Trail successfully completed its 28-day 670km journey from Point Pedro to Dondra on Wednesday, with nearly 2,700 walkers and 10,000 donors collecting over $ 3 million for the construction of a Cancer Treatment Centre at the Karapitiya Hospital in Galle. 

Sri Lanka’s premier telecommunication service provider Dialog Axiata Plc was a Platinum Sponsor of Trail, opening up SMS, eZ Cash and Star Points for customers and donors to contribute to the cause. The Colours of Courage Trust, the organisers of Trail, recognised Dialog’s contribution to the walk at the closing ceremony in Dondra on Wednesday, helping to promote the message of unity and understanding, while raising funds in aid of cancer treatment.
