AIA discovers hidden bowling talent in Ambalantota!

Are you good enough of a bowler to be able to hit a single wicket? Striking one out of three stumps is challenging enough but to hit a single stump standing alone takes a considerable amount of skill, aim and precision. It came as a surprise therefore, when 103 people were able to achieve this feat at the recently held AIA in Town program at Ambalantota.

AIA hosted a range of fun-filled cricket related games at the Ambalantota Pradeshiya Sabha Grounds with over 1,200 participants out to have a good time and walk away with some interesting prizes including some dapper AIA cricket t-shirts. 

Other activities included ‘the costume race’ which saw contestants wearing cricket ball costumes navigating an obstacle course, as well as the AIA profile picture booth and Facebook photo competition. 

As the Official Insurance Partner of Sri Lanka Cricket, AIA took great pleasure in enabling this fun-filled cricket games and in a town full of cricket fans, it’s safe to say that everyone had a ball of a time!
