AIS wins All Island School Boys Under 14 Basketball Championships 2012

Asian International School beat Azhar Central Akurana in the final 90-72 to win the all Island School boys under-14 Basketball championships 2012.

This was held at the A.I.S courts this past Sunday. This year 68 schools took part in this tournament and Asian International School was the only unbeaten team. A.I.S fought hard to win over S. Thomas’ Mt. Lavinia in the semi finals, which they won 67-63. Taher Akbarally of AIS was adjudged most valuable player of the tournament and Shazon Perera of AIS the best defensive player
