Allianz sponsors Finance Houses Association sports festival

Allianz Lanka, the fully owned subsidiary of the German Insurer Allianz SE, was the principal sponsor for the Finance Houses Association’s annual sports festival as held last week at the Bloomfield grounds.
The FHASL annual sports festival attracts over 5,000 employees and families attached to 41 finance companies in Sri Lanka. The full day event consists of sports, games and entertainment creates a platform for fellowship among the staff in member finance companies.
Allianz Lanka General Manager Non Life Sales and Distribution Dennis Hewagama stated: “We are pleased to come forward as a principal sponsor for this event. This sponsorship reiterates Allianz’s commitment to sports in Sri Lanka. Further, the FHASL is a key stakeholder in our non-life business and we are happy to partner them to strengthen our relationships.”

This event is a place not only for competition but also for fellowship among finance companies staff members and families around the country. We always compete fiercely in our day to day jobs in a dynamic market place but sports festival brings all of us together,” Finance Houses Association of Sri Lanka Chairman Kamal Yatawara said whilst accepting the Allianz Sponsorship.
