It’s Avurudu time again and time to reawaken memories and friendship among members of the Aloysian family.
Sinhala and Hindu New Year brings with it an environment of joy, friendship and sharing enhanced by the fruits and flowers of nature that enrich the spirit of festivity. Organised by St. Aloysius College Galle OBA Colombo Branch.
The traditional Avurudu party gets off the ground this year on Sunday 26 April at Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club, Colombo 7 starting at 9:30 a.m. until sun set.
They have drawn up an activity-studded program for all age groups, including a cricket match between the present college team and the old boys, games, music, food parlours, magic show, etc.
