Amarapadma maintains 7-stroke lead after 3 rounds

The Cat Solar Pin Fernando Grand Prix enters its final day with N. Amarapadma holding a seven-stroke advantage over B. A. Sanjeewa, who in turn is six strokes ahead of Navinda Ranga, who stepped into third place with a 2 under par third round. 

Sanjeewa also carded a 69, which was the best score for the day. Amarapadma followed up his 6 under par in the second round with another consistent 1 under par to maintain a clear lead.

The final round promises to be a thriller with Amarapadma having to keep up his game to stay in front. In the junior category, T. Akash maintained his two-stroke lead over Janukla Dilshan when both youngsters returned 79.

The prize giving will follow the completion of the January edition of the Grand Prix, sponsored by United Tractor & Equipment Ltd. (UTE), the sole distributor for Cat Solar.
