The golf tournament organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka (AmCham) in partnership with the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) for the 14th year was held on 24 August 2013 at RCGC. NDB bank was the principal sponsor for this event while Bharti Airtel Lanka was the platinum sponsor.
The tournament was held under eight categories namely, division A, division B, division C, seniors, ladies, sponsor, AmCham member and squad player with two special awards by the sponsors as NDB trophy-for the best score in the back 9 and Airtel Trophy- for the best score in the front 9.
Standing in for the President AmCham Vijaya Ratnayake, Vice President Prasath Nanayakkara stated that the event was an immense success with a total of 196 registrations. He further stated that all that participated and partnered AmCham have experienced a truly memorable day of golf and fellowship.
Chairman of the Golf Committee Primal Wijayanayake thanked the participants, sponsors, especially NDB bank and Bharti Airtel Lanka for coming forward to support this endeavour for the second consecutive year and everyone who helped in numerous ways to make this event a great success.
