Sri Lanka Under 19 outfit will take wing to Malaysia in December this year to participate at the Asian Rugby Championship which will take place in Malaysia from 11 to 17 December.
Defending champions Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Taipei and Malaysia will compete in the group event where each team will play three games and the winners selected on aggregate. The champions will also win a berth for the World Youth Rugby Championship in 2017.
Current Isipathana Head Coach Nilfer Ibrahim is tipped to be appointed as the Head Coach for both sevens (Malaysia and Hong Kong) and the fifteens tournament in Malaysia later this year.
Venue: University Putra Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur
Participating teams: Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia
