Bishopians beat Ladies in annual hockey encounter

The seventh Annual Ladies’ College vs Bishop’s College Hockey Encounter 2011 was played on Friday at Police Grounds. Ladies’ College has won five encounters, with last year being a draw and this year, the Bishopians won the match for the first time in the series. The Ladies’ College team was coached by Sunethra Rupasinghe while the Bishop’s College team was coached by G.H. Jayatissa and Dinesha Perera.

The Chief Guest at the match was Sepalika Hapudeniya, a former Hockey Captain of Ladies’ College – Pix by Indraratne Balasuriya
