Bishop’s and Ananda dominate t-sips Sri Lanka National Rowing Championship

The second annual Sri Lanka National Rowing Championship sponsored by t-sips has successfully concluded, with Bishop’s College and Ananda College dominating the girls and boys categories respectively.

The Beira Lake witnessed 16 schools battling it out for supremacy over the weekend to claim the prestigious title. The event was witnessed by over 1,000 spectators and fans cheering their alma maters. Bishop’s College emerged victorious in three categories, while Ladies College won the under 18 category. Prince of Wales and Royal College claimed titles in the under 14 and under 16 age groups respectively, while Ananda College won the under 18 and under 20 categories. Continuously supporting the sport, t-sips is the proud sponsor of the Royal College rowing team since 2009. They have also been sponsoring the Royal-Thomian Regatta for the last three years. Genuinely passionate about developing the sport and the calibre of oarsmen and women in the country, t-sips will continue to nurture rowing in Sri Lanka.
