Moratuwa slay Buffaloes with three-point daggerThe Carlton Cup Men’s Division II finals ended thrillingly as Mortuwa BC hit a last-second three-pointer to end the unrelenting challenge of Buffaloes BC ‘Blacks’. The score was tied at 54- heading into the game’s final stretch, when Moratuwa gained possession of the ball and relayed it to their sharpshooter Mohamed Faizal, who knocked down the game-winning three. Moratuwa BC were leading 29-22 at halftime. In all 26 teams took part in the tournament.
