The 5th Prestige Automobile Ltd. sponsored ‘BMW-Hyundai’ Cup MCA ‘C’ division 50 Over League Tournament 2016, got off to a start with a single game just before Christmas at De Soysa Park, Moratuwa.
Nations Trust Bank ‘A’ went home to tea, as they snuffed the wind out of Colombo Dockyard sails by 182 – runs.
CDL chasing a moderate total of 220 runs in 50-Overs set up by the bankers, ran into turbulence in the form of left-arm leg spinner, Manisha Thanthirigoda who finished with incredible figures of 9-1-4-8-5, as CDL sank to 37 runs in 20.1 overs.
