Browns sponsors Mercantile Hockey Sevens for the 7th consecutive year

Brown & Company PLC is sponsoring the 37th Annual Seven-a -Side Tournament, organised by the Mercantile Hockey Association on Sunday the 20th of October 2013 from 8.00am onwards at the P.Sara Oval, Colombo.
Being the esteemed sponsor for the 7th consecutive year, Browns will feature Olympus, world’s best camera of the year 2012 and world’s number one pet food ‘Eukanuba’ at the most prestigious hockey extravaganza where the companies in Sri Lanka, battle it out to win the coveted title.
The Chief Guests for the event will be Chaminda Ediriwickrama, Senior Vice President, Vet Pharma , Commodity and Agri business, CEO/Director- Sifang Lanka Ltd., Director-Browns Global Farm Ltd., of Brown & Company PLC and Mrs Jayani Ediriwickrama while Aruna Jayasekara – DGM Human Resources – Sampath Bank PLC will be the Guest of Honour.
Teams from leading corporate establishments will be competing in 5 separate Divisions while the most outstanding players of the five divisions will be awarded Hockey Sticks by the Mercantile Hockey Association. The teams have been categorised as follows.
