Burgher Association holds successful Cricket Sixes 2016

The annual Cricket Sixes of the Burgher Association of Sri Lanka was sponsored by Singer and was successfully held at the Malay Sports Club Cricket Grounds, Colombo 2 on Sunday 7 August. Twelve teams competed from Colombo, Wattala, Dehiwala, Nugegoda and Trincomalee. 

The Ondrey Eephrams Memorial Challenge Trophy for the under 40 category was won by the Trincomalee team and the Godwin Joseph Ludowyke Memorial Challenge Trophy for the over 40 category was won by the Colombo Red Heads team. 

The Chief Guests for the event were Mr. and Mrs. Leon Daniels, Chairman, Managing Director of Fire Tech Ltd.
