The Interbank Cricket Tournament is a major event in the calendar of activities of the Clearing Association of Bankers (CAB). This year the Twenty20 soft ball; cricket tournament was held on 8 August at Moors Ground, Colombo 2.

Since the formation of the Clearing Association of Bankers was in 2008, it has organised numerous activities to promote the goodwill, understanding and fellowship among bankers engaged in clearing. Enhancing the knowledge of the bankers is one of the key objectives of the Association. These activities are held island-wide where member participation is quite encouraging.

MCS Computer Systems Ltd., one of the leading IT solutions providers in Sri Lanka specialised in image based banking solutions and authorised distributor in Sri Lanka for Digital Check Scanners, was the main sponsor at this year’s interbank cricket tournament.
