Cathay Pacific, Dragon Air International Cricket Sixes at the Oval

Cathay Pacific Airways and sister airline Dragon Air will team up to host the International Cricket Sixes 2011 in Sri Lanka on the 12th and 13th of November at the The Oval.

This is an annual event hosted by Cathay Pacific where 08 ports of the airline from South Asia, the Middle East and South Africa participate in the two day event. Participating countries will include India, Bangladesh, Nepal, South Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bahrain, and the UAE.

10 mens teams and four ladies teams will converge at the The Oval on the 12th and 13th to battle it out in the spirit of sportsmanship. “It is a pleasure to join the Region of South Asia, Middle East and South Africa and a privilege to have the entire team visiting Sri Lanka at the same time after 2006. It is not only competing with each other but also a good opportunity to build up relationships” stated Mr. Kapila Santhapriya, Cargo Manager for Cathay Pacific Airways - Sri Lanka.
