CEAT racers in strong debut at Fox Hill

In their first outing as members of the newly-formed CEAT Racing Team, two drivers and the lone motorcyclist achieved podium finishes at four of the five races they competed in, at the Fox Hill Supercross on 21 April.

Lt. Colonel Duminda Jayasinghe (Group SL N Ford Laser/Mazda 1500 cc) and W.A.G Rangana (Group SL Cars Special up to 1500cc ) were placed Colonel Duminda Jayasinghesecond in their respective events, while Gayan Sandaruwan took top honours winning both races for MX Motor Cross Bikes (up to 125cc two-stroke or up to 250 cc four-stroke).  

“This is a great debut for the CEAT racing team,” said CEAT Kelani Holdings Vice President Sales and Marketing Ravi Dadlani. “It is also exciting for all users of CEAT radial tyres, because these champion drivers are racing the tyres they drive.”

Gayan SandaruwanThe CEAT Racing Team comprises drivers Nishan Wasalathanthri, W.A.G. Rangana, Kamil Hussein and Lt. Colonel Duminda Jayasinghe and rider Gayan Sandaruwan. They will use CEAT radials exclusively at all tarmac events that they race in, in cars bearing the distinctive CEAT livery.
