Cetus House sweeps the board at Lyceum Senior Athletic Meet

Cetus House outgunned opponents Cygnus, Aquila and Ursa and with 281 points to emerge overall champion at the recently concluded Senior Athletic Meet of Lyceum International School Nugegoda, held at Sugathadasa Stadium.

Cetus Champions 2014 Sterling performances by athletes representing Cetus House contributed to the overall position of Cetus. The first runner-up was Aquila House followed by Ursa House, with Cynus finishing fourth. Badminton star Niluka Karunaratne was the chief guest. The event was presided over by the senior management of the school, heads of divisions, teachers and well wishers. Parents, well-wishers and former students of Lyceum were also present at the event. The meet witnessed a high standard of performance by athletes from all houses.
