Chaaya Blu bids farewell to Asian Optimist Championship

The biggest international sailing championship to hit the shores of Sri Lanka, ‘Chaaya Blu IODA Asian Optimist Championship’ came to an end with the team from Singapore taking the trophy.

Chaaya Blue Trincomalee was the official venue for this year’s championship, hosting 80 visitors from 13 countries in its beautiful scenic setting. Painting a canvas of unique blues and pure whites with a touch of the orange of the rising sun, Chaaya Blu Trincomalee was the ideal resort for the competitors whose passion is riding the calm waves.

The team from Sri Lanka to represent the ‘Chaaya Blu IODA Asian Optimist Championship’ were the youngest group in the contest, who put up a good fight. The pictures seen here are the actions of the finale.
