By Shamseer Jaleel CH&FC will decide today whether they are to continue in the second round of the inter-club league rugby tournament, which will commence its second round in five days’ time. The main reason for CH&FC to pull out is due to a lack of funds from sponsors and an inability to find a proper place to conduct their training sessions.   CH&FC have produced some top-class players in the past such as Graham Rux, Nazeem Mohamed, Brayan Baptist, Aith Upawansa, Keneth De Zilwa and Azar Samsudeen to name a few. The club’s rugby Chairman Iqbal Hassan will meet with their committee to decide its final fate. Though the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union was informed of the situation, to date no support has come the way of the club which was formed by the British. CH&FC lost their home ground at Maitland Crescent due to a scheduling clash with the cricket season, which saw it being occupied by the Colombo Cricket Club.
