Kandy Sports Club will miss the service of their overseas player Chris Colette in their next week’s semi-final and final encounter.
Kandy SC will meet the winners of the CR and FC vs Army SC encounter on 25 March at Nittawela Rugby Stadium.
South African-born Chris who sustained an injury in their last game left the island for an urgent operation back home. He is expected to return to the hill capital in October this year, in time for the league tournament.
Kandy will find it tough to replace Chris for their starting line-up as he was omnipresent for the Up Country Club playing really well in attack and defence.
