Cinnamon Grand wins Travel Trade Hardball Cricket Sixes

Showing their prowess in the field, Cinnamon Grand’s talented cricket team brought glory to the hotel by becoming the joint champions at the34th Travel Trade Hardball Cricket Sixes held on Saturday, 29 October.

The league tournament took place at the Thurstan College grounds. Competing against 10 teams, Cinnamon Grand shared the championship with SriLankan Airlines. Cinnamon Grand’s Ishan Jayarathne won the Man of the Tournament accolade while also being recognised for hitting the Highest Number of Sixes.

The Cinnamon Grand team consisted of Janudika Sriyapala, Ashan Peiris, Rasika Weerarathne, Malshan Alwis, Sasindu Madusanka, Fabian Sylvester, Ishan Jayarathne, Lakindu Wasala, C. Priyantha, Hemantha Ranathunga and Ramesh Peiris.
