Cinnamon Lakeside is home to the North Western Blacks

The Carlton 7’s rugby tournament is taking Colombo by storm and Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo is proud to be hosting the North Western Blacks.

The eagerly anticipated rugby tournament welcomes a number of local players and selected international players to take part in this championship.

The North Western Blacks currently ranked on top of the Carlton 7’s table are coming off a winning performance from the first leg of the tournament.

Hoping to carry the momentum forward, the team comprising of Sri Lankan players Chanaka Chandimal (Captain), Radhika Hettiarachchi,  Dilip Selvam, Pradeep Kulukulasuriya, Prasad Devinda, Rishan Premageeth, Pium Jayasinghe, Sayoru Anthony and Bilal Hassen.  The team is joined by four New Zealand players Frank Halai IRB World Player of the Year nominee, Shane Christie, Warwick Lahmert and rising New Zealand Sevens star Joe Webber.

Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo is honoured to be hosting the team and wish them well for the rest of the tournament.
