Cinnamon Lakeside’s women’s team shines at JKH badminton tourney

Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo’s women’s team emerged victorious at this year’s John Keells Holdings Intercompany Bad-minton Tournament, bringing home the coveted championship trophy in the women’s open category.

Led by star player Ravihari de Silva, the team captured the trophy with a 2-0 win after an intense battle against SAGT at the Mercantile Badminton Association courts on 4 July. Samanthi Peiris and W.D.C. Kalhari were part of the winning team. De Silva was adjudged the Best Player in the Women’s Open Category.
