CIS Central Province under 19 basketball champions

Colombo International School Kandy branch became the Central province basketball champions when they outclassed Azar College Akurana in the final by 69-37. The tournament was organised by the Education Department of the Central Province and played at the St. Anthony’s Girls College Courts.
At the short breather the winners led 40-20.
Skipper Umair Naleer, Veen Karunaratne, Salik Hamjad, Azan Manzil and Kiran Karaliyadde were outstanding in the grand-final.
CIS beat Kingswood in the semi-final 61-48 while Azar College Akurana defeated St. Anthony’s College Katugastota 75-21 in the other semi final battle.
