Classic Travel, will debut its 12 member rugby team at the ongoing 47th Mercantile Rugby Sevens 2017 at the Race Course International Stadium.
The team will play in Group ‘C’ of the tournament, led by team Captain Azeem Amit and Vice Captain Imran Zarook and coached by Dev Anandh.
The team are not newcomers to the sport of rugby or to mercantile rugby tournaments, as these players have represented Expolanka Holdings since 2011 in league tournaments. Due to the much gained popularity for the sport among the Expolanka Holdings Group and the experience gained over the past 7 years, a new team was formed to represent Classic Travel.
