Club Bentota “A” retains TTSC Beach Volleyball title 2016

Hosts Club Bentota “A” retained the Travel Trade Sports Club Beach Volleyball title 2016 for the second year running, when they beat their “C” team in the “Cup” Championship Final in the 10th edition of the tournament concluded at Paradise Island, Aluthgama, last Saturday. 

For the fifth successive year the tournament was sponsored by Mt. Lavinia Hotels Group and was hosted by Club Bentota, Aluthgama. 

Club Hotel Dolphin, Waikkala won the “Plate” Championship, beating Club Bentota “B” team. 

In a keenly contested “Bowl” Final, which was stretched to 03 sets, Heritance Ayurveda Mahagedera, Beruwala beat Avani Bentota. A total of 14 teams participated in 04 groups in 02 stages, consisting a total of 29 matches including the 03 finals.
