Coca-Cola and McDonald’s launch FIFA World Cup memorabilia

With football fever gripping the entire country, Coca-Cola and McDonald’s have partnered to launch an exclusive collection of FIFA World Cup memorabilia. Bringing the Brazil World Cup to life in Sri Lanka, the two partners have launched a set of six tumblers in six different colours which will be available at all McDonald’s outlets across the country. Coca-Cola and McDonald’s are worldwide partners and have had a long-term association with the FIFA World Cup, one of the largest sporting events that enthral millions of football fans across the world. Consumers can receive a special Coca-Cola and FIFA World Cup branded commemorative tumbler with the purchase of every large extra value McDonald’s meal combo. Coca-Cola has launched the consumer promotion at all McDonald’s outlets in Rajagiriya, Colpetty, Racecourse, Nugegoda, Kotahena and Welisera, to reach out to football fans and encourage them to share their World Cup happiness moments with Coca-Cola and McDonald’s. Abhishek Jugran – Country Manager, Coca Cola for Sri Lanka and Maldives explained: “Sports is something that brings people together and the FIFA World Cup is one of the most coveted titles in the football world. The Coca-Cola Company is one of the longest-standing corporate partners of FIFA, with a formal association since 1974! To amplify the football fever in Sri Lanka and encourage fans to enjoy the games with Coca Cola, we have teamed up with our global partners McDonald’s and launched this exclusive collection.
