Colombo Ceramics sponsors Foxhill

Leading tile and sanitary ware retailer, Colombo Ceramics, based in Kalmunai has come forward to support Sri Lanka’s most popular motor racing event, Fox Hill Supercross 2013, conducted annually by the Sri Lanka Military Academy.

The ceramic firm, which supplies all kinds of tiles of different textures and sizes, including decorated tiles, stylish sanitary ware and modern bathroom fittings, will be amongst the only three other firms from the Eastern Province extending support to the event.

The 21st annual Fox Hill Supercross, a long running competition which continues to showcase the thrills of high speed motor racing in the panoramic hill station of Diyatalawa.  “We are proud to have partnered with the Foxhill event for the first time and wish the event a major success,” Colombo Ceramics Managing Director Shamil Musthafa said.

The organisers of the event expressed their gratitude to the increasing number of sponsors from the Eastern Province, never experienced during the past 20 years of fox hill super cross.

Organised by the Sri Lanka Military Academy and the Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers and Riders (SLARDAR), this prestigious motor racing gala will take place on Saturday, 20 April 2013 in Diyatalawa. The line-up of exciting races includes categories such as cars, motorbikes, jeeps and trucks, which will be witnessed by an audience expected to exceed 50,000 people.

The event will also feature over 200 competitors, including a number of foreign drivers and riders, who are famous for pushing their machines to full throttle, vying for top honours in this annual motor racing showpiece.
