The Annual Sports Day of the Colombo Chetty Association will be held on Sunday 20 July at P. Sara International Cricket Stadium(Oval) commencing at 9:30 a.m. This year the Sports Day will be headed by past Benedictine wicketkeeper/batsman Joe Saverymuthapulle. All young and old sports enthusiastic fraternity are cordially invited. The following sports events will be worked out on this day.
Six-a-side softball cricket tournament for gents, ladies and children (under 14); each team to register eight players.
Netball tournaments for ladies
Tug-o-war competition
for men
Outdoor games for ladies
and children
Indoor games for the young and the old; tombola and
many more
Entrance to the grounds is by ticket of Rs. 150 per head
Lunch tickets are available at Rs. 350 per head
Live band in attendance
Those interested in taking part in the cricket and netball tournaments, please give your names/teams to any one of the names listed below.
Cricket and netball tournaments are open only to members of the Colombo Chetty community.
