Colombo District Ahadhiyyah Schools excel in cricket

The Colombo District Ahadhiyyah Schools Federation organised the President’s Cup Cricket Tournament 2013 which was held at the Umagiliya Public Grounds, Kolonnawa recently.
Dehiwala Ahadhiyyah School became a champion at the final and Egoda Uyana Ahadhiyyah School became runners up at this tournament.
Best Batsman Mohamed Rifak from KIEC Ahadhiyyah School, Best Bowler Mohamed Amjad from Egoda Uyana Ahadhiyyah School and Man of the Final Amzal Subhany from Dehiwala Ahadhiyyah School received the awards and certificates from chief guest Colombo District Ahadiyyah Schools Federation President M.R.M. Zarook. Central Ahadiyyah Federation Secretary S.M. Shazuli and Hultsdrof YMMA Secretary Ashroff Rumi and Ahadiyyah Schools principals and teachers were present.
Al Hidaya Ahadiyah, KIEC Ahadiyah, Minana Ahadiyah, Qadiriya Ahadiyah, Darus Salam Ahadiya, Wellampitiya Darul Shafie Ahadiyah, Dehiwala Ahadiyah, YMMA Hulsdrop Ahadiyah, YMMA Mutuwal Ahadiyah, Colombo Ahadiyah (Boys’ Section), Quraniya Ahadiyah, Kirulapana, Gotatuwa Ahadiyah, Rahumaniya Ahadiyah, Sedawatta Battaramulla Ahadiyah and Egoda Uyana Ahadiyah schools participated at this tournament.
